seven lies about girls - secret zones data of karin

Recently I've been going through my old cassette releases and converting them to digital. Since these were barely released in the first place, I figured this would be a good way to let people check them out. I haven't listened to this shit in years, it's interesting to see how things change (or don't)

This is the very first Seven Lies About Girls cassette, from back in 1999. Solo live recording from a basement in Alameda, the strained scraping of burnt mind and battered metal:

If you're into this stuff leave me a comment, I'll gladly post more.

The Bitches- back in town

Yet another killer weekend at the Skydad a few weeks ago. 16 BITCH PILE UP, Fat Worm of Error, Sword Heaven, Jason Zeh and David Reed, & Tusco Terror tore shit up on friday. La Otracina, Twink Bully, Ryan Jewell, & John Bennett wrapped it up on tuesday. (sorry, no podcast for either of these. The recordings turned out so good that most of them are getting a proper release as part of Teen Action Records' Ohio cassette series.)
Matt B. & Jacy provided some great stencil pieces to compliment the performances, and over at the Animal Hammock, Insecta was taking some amazing portraits. (pics coming soon)
Here's some photos from the performances on the 23rd:
